Jim McGough co-founded EdgeOne Medical with his wife Lilli Zakarija with the mission to navigate, accelerate, and elevate high impact health technologies on to the right commercial and development pathway. Today EdgeOne Medical supports five of the top ten global biopharmaceuticals firms with their device development programs as well as many large and small medical technology firms around the world. Prior to EdgeOne Medical Jim was a senior executive and intrapreneur at global technology firms Audi, Motorola, and Citibank before transitioning to the entrepreneurial world.
Jim thoroughly enjoys the innovation process and supports the MedTech ecosystem in many ways including being a partner in the MedTech Innovator program, a principal advisor in the NIH Commercialization Accelerator Program, a Strategic Advisor at the Digital Therapeutics Alliance, and an EIR in the West Coast Consortium for Technology & Innovation in Pediatrics.
Jim also has three healthy children, one of which spent some unexpected time in NICU, which helped him foster a deep appreciation fo the pediatric care ecosystem. He has a B.A. in History from the University of California-Berkeley and Master in International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
